THE DIASPORA TECHNICAL WORKING GROUP(DTWG) PAYS A COURTESY VISIT TO PS NJOGU

Tuesday, June 17, 2025(NAIROBI)__The Diaspora Technical Working Group (DTWG), comprising Kenyan professionals living and working abroad, paid a courtesy visit to Principal Secretary Roseline K. Njogu, CBS, ahead of their scheduled activities in the country.

The group’s visit aims to advance diaspora electoral inclusion and drive democratic reforms, aligning with the State Department for Diaspora Affairs’ mandate to promote the participation of Kenyans abroad in the country’s democratic processes.

In addition to their focus on electoral matters, the DTWG will be involved in a range of impactful initiatives, including organizing medical camps, engaging with key stakeholders, participating in tree planting activities, and facilitating technology and skills transfer.

All these efforts are designed to enhance service delivery and strengthen the diaspora’s contribution to Kenya’s development.

These initiatives play a vital role in mainstreaming the diaspora into Kenya’s national agenda, creating more opportunities for job creation, innovation, and fostering bilateral cooperation.
